Cut Resistant Gloves
The Pro-Val range of Cut Resistant Gloves are designed to improve workplace safety with a minimum of level 5 cut resistant protection, helping to avoid unnecessary hand injuries.
Cut resistance is measured using Australian standard AS/NZS 2161.3:2005 or the equivalent European standard of EN388. Gloves receive 4 ratings - Abrasion, Cut, Tear and Puncture.
A glove's performance to these standards is indicated by the mechanical hazards symbol and 4 digits underneath, each digit representing the protection rating out of 4 (with the exception of cut resistance which is out of 5) it received for that particular test.
